Working together

We believe it takes a village to raise a child. These are the ways parents shape the school.

Parent Advisory Forum

The Parent Advisory Forum (PAF) was set up in 2023, when the school opened, so that parents' voices are heard in shaping the school's direction.

It brings together parent representatives from every year group. They meet once a term, and more often if needed, to discuss school policies, student wellbeing, academic standards and co-curricular programmes. The forum elects a Chair and Vice Chair, who work with school leaders to present feedback, raise concerns and help identify improvements.

Governing body

The Governing Body was formed in 2023 with the school. Its members bring experience in education, governance and community leadership, and work with the senior leadership team on the school's strategy, values and long-term vision, making sure of high standards, financial responsibility and sound operations.

Regular, open meetings cover curriculum development, staffing, student welfare and school improvement plans, so decisions are well-informed and in line with what students and parents need.

Coffee Morning with the Principal

An informal, open-door morning where parents meet the Principal over coffee. Parents share thoughts, feedback, concerns and suggestions about school policies, student welfare and academic progress.

Sessions can include short updates on school developments, discussion and an open question-and-answer time. We believe meaningful communication leads to meaningful change.
