About CBSE

We follow the CBSE curriculum. Affiliation No. 6630279.

CBSE is India's national education board, set up in 1929 and working under the Ministry of Education. It oversees the curriculum and examinations for more than 28,000 schools in India and abroad, including more than 100 schools in the UAE.

What makes CBSE different

One curriculum, everywhere

CBSE schools follow a common curriculum designed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT). If your family moves between emirates or back to India, your child can continue without a gap.

Recognised around the world

The CBSE curriculum is aligned with international standards, and its qualifications are recognised by universities around the world, which makes higher education abroad more straightforward.

Learning you can apply

Under India's National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, CBSE has introduced competency-based assessment that tests how well students apply knowledge to real situations, not just what they remember. This builds critical thinking and problem-solving.

Board examinations

CBSE holds annual board examinations for Grade 10 (the All India Secondary School Examination, AISSE) and Grade 12 (AISSCE), combining theory papers, practicals and internal assessment. Recent reforms have reduced the emphasis on rote learning. At Woodlem Park School Hamidiya, students sit the Grade 10 board examination.

CBSE in the UAE

CBSE has opened its first Regional Office and Centre of Excellence in Dubai, which gives schools like ours closer academic and training support.
