Teaching and learning
How our teachers teach, and how we keep parents involved.
Student-centred learning
Every student is different, with their own strengths, interests and ways of learning. Our teachers use differentiated instruction so that all learners are challenged and supported, and take ownership of their learning.
Inquiry-based learning
We encourage students to ask questions, explore ideas and look for solutions. Inquiry builds critical thinking and problem-solving, and helps students connect what they learn with the real world.
Project-based learning
Students work on extended projects that answer complex questions or challenges. Working on real problems builds collaboration, communication and critical thinking, and the practical skills they will need later.
Continuous assessment and feedback
Assessment is ongoing and shapes our teaching. We use formative assessment, peer evaluation and self-reflection, and give regular feedback to students and parents on strengths and next steps.
Professional development for teachers
Good teaching needs continual learning. Our teachers take part in regular professional development to stay up to date with educational research and best practice.
Parents as partners
Education is a partnership between school and family. We keep parents involved through regular communication, parent-teacher meetings and school events.
A global outlook
Our curriculum includes international themes and perspectives, so students learn to value diversity and engage with global issues as informed, caring global citizens.
